Looptopia

In our wonderful city of Chicago there is a little known festival called Looptopia. It's described as "America's first dusk 'til dawn cultural extravaganza showcasing the marvelous renaissance of Chicago's Loop". I've never been, but last year some of my friends went and said it was a ton of fun. It starts May 2nd at 7:00 am and goes till 5:00 pm the next day. They've got just about everything you can think of. For more info check out the website right here.

I'm jealous

I'm very excited to be going off to college next year, but there are certainly many things I will miss about Chicago. For starters, I'm extremely jealous of evryone who will still be in Chicago this fall because there is a FREE Andrew Bird concert in the lovely Millenium Park. It's on September 3rd, which is sadly only a few weeks after I will have left for Bloomington (I'm going to Indiana University next year by the way). Just thought I'd let you all know. It should be an excellent show. I saw The Decemberists there last year and it was stellar.

Awarness Test

I was cruising the blogsphere (I can't believe I actually just typed that sentence) and I came across this brilliant little video. Thanks Will for this find. Here it is.
