LOL COWS

So you've all heard about LOL Cats, well here is LOL Cows. Ok, so it doesn't really have anything to do with LOL Cats, but it's still really funny. Thanks Masha!

Political Parodies

I know I've already posted two of these and that the election is over, but I still think that they're hilarious so here's two more. Enjoy!

The Great Schlep

Sarah Silverman is hilarious.

Superbarack!

Ha I love these.

Education

A good commentary from an everyday fellow.

I just can't stop

Now that I started watching Obama videos, I just can't stop so here's another one. Again, if you haven't voted yet, go do it! Democracy only works if we participate.

We Are The Ones

I just got back from voting, so I thought I'd post this video to inspire those of you who haven't voted yet. Today is our chance to make history. Don't throw it away on McSame and 4 more years of failed policies.

Attack of the Robots!!!

It's scary because it's true

Here's a fake trailer for a fake disney movie, but it's based on a terrifyingly real person; Sarah Palin. Both funny and frightening.

JibJab

This video is so great because it makes fun of everyone equally. Another political masterpiece by Jibjab. If you like this one, go check out more of their stuff at jibjab.com

Electoral Map

This is a link to a projected electoral map created by the New York Times. I've been following it since they started it and I think it's quite interesting. The one thing that has made me happy is that Indiana has moved from leaning to McCain to a tossup state. Indiana hasn't gone blue since 1960, so as a student who lives a good part of my year in Indiana, this a very exciting thing. No matter what candidate you support, get out there and vote!

Here's the link

Prop 2

I'm not sure if this is a proposition in all states, but for those who can actually vote on proposition 2, please do. Here's a little video about it.

Mmm roasted McCain

In anticipation for election day, I'll be posting some election related stuff this week and next week. To start, here's a video of Obama roasting McCain. Quite funny.

John McCain...No we can't

So you know that Obama music video I posted? Here's one quite like it except it's about McCain. It made me chuckle. Enjoy.

Yes We Can

Sorry I've been missing for a while. I should have some time to talk about the Girl Talk show later, but right now on the eve of Super Tuesday, there are more important things. I'll be working the polls tomorrow and obviously voting. I hope to see you all doing your part as well. Obviously I would encourage you all to vote for the true progressive candidate, Barack Obama. Here's a little video to hopefully inspire you. Even if you don't like Obama at all, I encourage you to watch this video because it's incredibly moving. Regardless of your political affiliation, please get out to the polls tomorrow and vote. I would rather you vote Republican then nothing at all. With out further adiue, here is Barack Obama.

Chuckabee

I kid you not, this is a real TV ad. While I must admit it is quite funny and pretty cool, I hope it doesn't make you like Mike Huckabee. The fact that Chuck Norris is touring with him does not make up for the fact that he didn't know who Presidnet Musharraf was or that he couldn't locate Pakistan on a map or that he think that the earth is only 5000 years old or that he thinks humans were alive during the same time as the dinosaurs or that he's crazy. I could list more reason not to vote for my batty, religiously zealous, conservative friend, but I'll stop there. Enjoy the video.

Obama wins!

For those of you who didn't hear then news, Obama won the Iowa caucus. One state down, 49 to go. There is still hope for America. 5 days till New Hampshire. If anyone is politically uninspired, check out this video. People can say many things about Barack Obama, but no one can say that he's not a powerful speaker. I'll see you at the voting booth.

Rock for Barack

I actually got an email about this a few days ago, but I keep forgetting to post something about it. For all you cool Chicago Democrat folk, this is a great opportunity to support (in my opinion) the best candidate out there AND listen to some quality music. What is it you say? A concert for Barack of course! Filling the bill will be Jeff Tweady (of Wilco), Stephen Jenkins (of Third Eye Blind), Jill Sobule, Cool Kids, The Changes, and Canasta. Quite the line-up if you ask me. The show will be at the Riviera this Friday (the 7th). Doors open at 7 pm. You can't buy tickets there, so make sure to buy them before hand. To buy tickets, go here. Tickets are a little pricey (ranging from $50 to $500), but it's worth it. I don't think there are any service charges though, so the price that it says it actually how much the ticket is (imagine that!). There is a good chance that Barack will be there. If I can scrap up some money, I'll see you all there.
